The Stars in our Sky
The lights at the top of this photo are not stars in the sky. The real stars are the financial advisors from Financial Alliance Pte Ltd who attended the first UT/ILP Investment Sales Master Class (with IBF funding). The Master Class is conducted over four sessions of nearly two hours each, spread over four days. This is done to allow homework (role play) to be given, assessed, and improved upon.
During a role play session on Module 3 (Reaping Rich Rewards by Being Regular) an advisor of nine-years standing became emotional. He saw the beauty and simplicity of a sales aid which shows 25 calendar years of stock market performance. This sales aid gave the advisor a simple way to prepare customers for the eventual and periodic downturns in the market. Our advisor understood that downturns were not to be feared but rather embraced.
In Module 4 (What is a Good Fund?) we had a passionate discussion on the role of benchmarks in judging fund performance and what this meant from a professional, ethical, and behavioural standpoint. We treasure these moments of passion, for you are the stars in our sky. We will do everything to make you shine, for your learning is our highest consideration.
