Investing can be easy
Many of us know that an easy way to stay healthy is to balance the food we eat with the exercise we do. If we eat a varied diet, don't overindulge and exercise three to five times a week, we will be healthy. We believe that successful investing can be equally simple and easy.
Let’s talk about the downside
When we invest our money, its value can either go up or down. Markets going down are as natural as markets going up and it’s a part of the investment journey. We believe that every discussion on investing should include talk about what happens when the markets go down.
We will treat investing like a marathon
Building a portfolio of investments is a marathon and not a sprint and should be viewed as a multi-year effort. Treating investing like a marathon means showing the customer what it means to invest over 10 years and 20 years.


Our Promises to Advisors

We will give you the tools for success
We believe that only when customers make profits can bankers and advisors be successful. Customers making profit is the starting point as well as the ending point of every sales tool and investing technique we will share.
Our sales coaching will be light and refreshing
Bankers and advisors live very busy and often stressful lives. We will not add complexity to this mix. We will make our training simple, entertaining and insightful.
Our presentations will be best-in-class
No presentation from New Light will ever exceed ten slides and no slide will have more than one chart or graph. Every chart and graph will be explained in full, as will each term, number and calculation.

Our Promises to Institutions

We can win by doing the right things
Business and ethics are intertwined. Morals over laws, substance over form, is the code by which we will abide. We will win by placing the interest of investors ahead of ourselves and the institutions we represent.
Risks, costs as well as returns
A proportionate and dispassionate discussion about the risks and costs of investing is the right thing to do. We will always be upfront and transparent in discussing risks and costs.
We will be guided by investor needs and not market outlook
Investor needs are enduring while our ability to forecast markets is not. We will always be guided by the spirit of this humility in every interaction with your customers.
