Director
Amit Kumar founded New Light Pte Ltd in 2018. Amit’s goal is to make sure that every financial advisor in Singapore is able to make investing easy for his/her customers. To this end, Amit delivers the New Light UT/ILP Investment Sales Master Class.
Amit’s other responsibility is to create products and services, which transform the ideas behind New Light into simple and effective tools.
Amit Kumar has 20+ years Unit Trust industry experience across South East Asia and South Asia. His breadth of experience covers Retail Distribution (HSBC Global Asset Management), Institutional & ETF sales (Barclays Global Investors), Portfolio Strategy (Fidelity Investments) & Unit Trust Research (Value Research & The Economic Times).

Amit’s interests include foreign policy, gardening and microscopy.
Rebecca Lua
Head of Client Engagement
Rebecca’s goal is to strengthen New Light’s engagement with the two thousand plus financial advisors who have attended our investment sales coaching. Her focus is to build trust and strong long-term relationships with our customers. Rebecca also drives the adoption of our software solutions and databases.
Rebecca’s 18 years experience covers both banking (UOB, HSBC and CIMB) and financial advisory (Zurich Life Insurance, Aviva Financial Advisors and Income).

Sanchit Kumar
Technical Consultant
Sanchit has been a part of New Light since it’s inception. From the setting up the company’s first website to launching our first software product (The Investing Game), Sanchit has seen it all. Sanchit effectively serves as the company’s chief operating officer, and his goal is to ensure that New Light’s operations continue unimpeded at all times. Sanchit is based in Gurgaon, India and has worked with Bharti Airtel, Mac Donald’s and Afsen Posten.
