The recently conducted UT/ILP Investment Sales Master Class for iPlanners (representing Great Eastern Financial Advisors) was a wonderful experience for me.

Director Ivan Chee who attended the training, was present much before the start of class every day. This set the tone for a very punctual and smooth delivery of the class. The participants asked many questions about the topics we covered as well as areas we do not explicitly cover. While nearly everyone asked questions Johnson Ng, Xavier Ang, Samantha Kwek (Certified Financial Consultant), Rebecca Qin and Zoe Yap Mui Ling exemplified the idea that learning happens when participants participate.

On the last day Nick Ong demonstrated effort and initiative when he created a detailed excel to explain the importance of topping up the portfolio when markets fall. The icing on the cake was when Maple Lai shared how she used our sales kit to overcome the objection of a customer who was scared of today’s falling market.

This class beautifully demonstrated the idea of caring through shared learning. It was a wonderful experience.
